Basics About the 2025 Kia EV6

For 2025, the EV6 receives subtle design changes to enhance its sporty appearance. The revamped front fascia gains a glossy black tiger-inspired grille, multi-focus LED reflector headlamps, and stunning LED daytime running lamps. At the rear, Kia introduces a redesigned bumper and a sleek LED light bar that spans the whole width.

Drivers have plenty of ways to configure the EV6 to their needs thanks to the availability of five distinct trim levels: the GT, GT-Line, Wind, Light, and Light Long Range.

New Features

Larger Battery

To help boost power and performance, Kia fits all 2025 EV6’s with larger batteries. The base Light model’s rear-mounted electric motor is powered by a new 63 kWh battery pack capable of generating 167 horsepower and 258 pound feet of torque. Upgrade to the Light Long Range, Wind, or GT-Line and receive an 84 kWh battery which ups the output to 225 ponies.

However, it’s the dual motor setup in the GT trim that unleashes the true power and performance of the EV6. When you engage Launch Mode, the GT’s electrified drivetrain pushes the ponies to 641 and the torque to 568 pound-feet.

Increased Range

In addition to increasing power, the larger battery also boosts range. Drivers who opt for a model fitted with the 84 kWh battery can expect to achieve 319 miles when fully charged, more than enough range to take the scenic route to Heritage Hill State Historical Park and back again. However, if your EV6 runs low on juice, recharge the battery in super-quick time thanks to its 800-volt DC fast charging capability.

Feature-Rich Interior

Tech-savvy drivers will love the EV6’s plush interior that’s bursting with advanced features. Two 12.3-inch displays sitting side-by-side dominate the dashboard and merge together to project the illusion of one large display. Perfectly positioned in front of the driver and behind the flat-bottomed steering wheel is a curved instrument cluster.

At the center of the dash is the infotainment touchscreen with built-in navigation and voice recognition. Bluetooth technology lets you wirelessly connect your smartphone via Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. And, an integrated modem gives you the ability to turn your EV6 into a Wi-Fi hotspot.

From its feature-rich interior to its ultra-fast charging capabilities, the Kia EV6 is a masterpiece of engineering. If you’re ready to experience the future of electric driving, contact us or stop by Ewald Kia of Oconomowoc in Oconomowoc, WI, and let us introduce you to the new EV6.
